The big drawings that are parts of the installation "Peripheral Vision" are available for shows. Be advised, however, that I will need a very large and clean space in which to unroll them, refresh them, and then hang them up. It is a daunting project and one I am only too happy to undertake under the right circumstances. They make wonderful spaces and can be arranged in any order around a room. 20 foot ceilings are ideal because they make possible the lighting design that I prefer: theatre Frenelles furnished with barn doors. When viewers discover their own shadows in the drawings it is very intriguing to them. As you can imagine, the "angry wall" is a favorite place to cast one's shadow.
I undertake Portrait installations as commissions on a community by community basis. Sometimes such an installation might be arranged as a tribute to a particular segment of a community, such as arts patrons, artists, and arts administrators. Another idea is an installation dedicated to all the members of some working community, an institution, a charitable organization, or a company. It is important to the concept of these installations that individuals come from all departments of the organization because this way the point is made that everybody plays his/her critical role in keeping that organization alive and well. Please contact me for details as to how to arrange for the creation of such an installation in your community.
